hosnappp Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 Hey everyone, I'm having a hard time overlocking my Nothbridge. I wanna get it to 2400 form the stock 2000 but I get a wall at 2200.It's bugging the crap out of me. Can someone tell me a bit about NB Overclocking? Like what voltage you should never go over, what kind of settings I should try to match my goal. Check my signature for my system details, feel free to ask me questions. My CPU is at 1.4v right now which is pretty good for that overclock, I think. But I can't raise the NorthBridge to 2400. Which is recommended for my CPU overclock. it's essentially how to get the most performance from 3.7 Ghz. Thank you!
hosnappp Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 People, come on? Does NO ONE have ANY advice regarding this? Are you all just RAM, GFX and CPU overclockers?
SuperEmostastix Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 Bump the NB Voltage up to 1.25V and CPU-NB VID +.075. That's what I did to get the NB frequency stable at 2400Mhz. Hope this helps

What're your idle and load temps? OCCT? Edited January 28, 2010 by headbangerbuggy
