P5Q-E and Q9550 overclock

 

 

 

Hey peeps heres my system,

 

Asus P5Q-E Mobo,

Corsair TX750w PSU,

4x2GB OCZ Reaper 8500 1066mhz,

Q9550, Xigmatek Red Scorpion S1283 CPU Cooler (OCZ Freeze Extreme Thermal Compound)

Gainward Radeon HD 4850 512MB GDDR3 (x2 crossfire)

2 SATA 300 drives

 

 

Im trying to overclock my new CPU and am looking for starting points as Im not sure at all what to do. I have everything on auto except

 

RATIO- 8.5

FSB - 333

DRAM FREQ - DDR2 1066mhz

RAM TIMINGS AS SPEC - 5,5,5,15

DRAM VOLTAGE - 2.10

- Disabled

 

Have turned off speed step, C1E, Virtualisation technology and Spread spectrum

 

Where should I go from here, has anybody got a similar/same setup that could post there settings?? Im hoping to get to 4ghz or close.

What do you guys think??
