daniel Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 (edited) I was trying to install Windows 7 64 on my vista 32 machine on dual boot.... i went changed my boot device priority so i could install installed windwos 7 on a partition on the same drive as my vista ... which said it was SYSTEM.. and my storage drive was primary..... after installation i swtich back the boot order... and windows 7 installed the boot loader on my storage drive and it is now seen as system and my partition where vista is as primary.... vista still boots, but i get no option to choose windows 7..... how can i undo this and put my vista back as the system drive? and if possible how can i do the dual boot thing.. any help is appreciated ________________EDIT_______________ now windows 7 booted, but no option to select vista... :S i think it has something to do where the boot was installed, but ihave no idea why it was installed there or how to uninstall it...
