Question About Q9300 And Memory

I have a Q9300 and I have corsair DDR3 memory @ 1333 Mhz I heard that 1333mhz limits over clocking with Q9300 is that true? am I screwed ? and have to get 1600 Mhz DDR3 memory?

 

I have a Asus P5Q3 Deluxe Wifi-ap @n with P45 chipset.. I heard that is a good mobo to do over clocking on I'm a noob at this so just trying to get some info so I can start to dig into this sometime soon.. thanks guys..
