ironlynxtk Posted November 22, 2007 Posted November 22, 2007 ever since i upgraded to the evercool chipset fan sometimes when i Boot up the pc, the led lights dim down and eventually the fan turns off. other times the lights dim down but the fan keeps running. kinda confused atm, nothing is blocking the fan either O_o Share this post Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
red930 Posted November 22, 2007 Posted November 22, 2007 The lights are dependent on fan speed, they don't have a separate power supply and the energy used to light them is generated by the fan itself. So the slower the fan spins the dimmer they'll be. Check in the Bios for NB fan settings, you should be able to adjust what temperature you want the fan to be at full speed/half speed/etc. Pretty sure what you're experiencing is normal, though I could be wrong.:angel: Share this post Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
