TT Bigtyphoon fan change - thumbs up!

Just a short FYI on changing out the fan on the TT Big Typhoon.

I was idle 27 or so via coretemp @ 1.425v on my E4300 and load (TAT!) at 65 or so.

I ran over to compuseless and picked up this Antec 120mm as it had LEDs (LOL) and a much higher CFM moved.

After the 2 minute install of the new fan, I reboot to a pleasant surprise.

I am now idle 22 or so via coretemp @ 1.425v on my E4300 and load (TAT!) at 58 or so.

I should mention that on orthos blend, I rarely hit 50. Average about 46-48.

As you may imagine, there is much more noise - but I never notice as I am always rocking to Pantera or some such.

Summary: If your TT Big Typhoon is not performing as you had hoped. Try a fan change...

Ok screenies for after the fan install
