Need help configuring CPU to Motherboard.

Recommended Posts

Thanks for the advice. I'll give it a shot. There is one thing I'm not clear on, that I've seen repeated use of....the whole "2.5-3-3-11 13-15" & "E-D-F-E....". I know that makes me sound, bad to say the least, but I just need to understand what that means. Could you please clarify that for me?

OK... time for you to do a litle reading in the overclocking thread here in the forum...the numbers are

Cas- 2.5

tRCD- 3

tRP- 3

tRAS- 11

The settings below are not for your MOBO. I put them there so you can see what they look like in the BIOS. This set is for a s939 MOBO your socket A will be a bit different but the terms are the same.

CPU VID Special Control - Avove VID * 110%

LDT Voltage Control - 1.20v

Chip Set Voltage Control - 1.50v

what these are is the basic and secondary memory timings set in the BIOS for more details you will have to do some reading here at Adrian Rojacks BIOS Information site like the rest of us... like ExRoadie says..If it ain't rocket science...why aren't you doing it yourself? That is a direct quote and hopefully not mis-paraphrased.

Good luck and keep us posted!!
