Need help configuring CPU to Motherboard.

Thanks for the advice. I'll give it a shot. There is one thing I'm not clear on, that I've seen repeated use of....the whole "2.5-3-3-11 13-15" & "E-D-F-E....". I know that makes me sound, bad to say the least, but I just need to understand what that means. Could you please clarify that for me?

OK... time for you to do a litle reading in the overclocking thread here in the forum...the numbers are

The settings below are not for your MOBO. I put them there so you can see what they look like in the BIOS. This set is for a s939 MOBO your socket A will be a bit different but the terms are the same.

what these are is the basic and secondary memory timings set in the BIOS for more details you will have to do some reading here at Adrian Rojacks BIOS Information site like the rest of us... like ExRoadie says..If it ain't rocket science...why aren't you doing it yourself? Ok, problem solved. It turns out that my Crucial ram has a CL of 3. I have been browsing this forum, and saw that DFI boards (maybe just this one, dunno) do NOT like a CL of 3. I have some pc2100 (CL 2.5 @ 133 MHz & CL 2 @ 100 MHz). It's a gig total and it works FLAWLESS.

 

My newest question is: Do ALL DFI boards have a problem with ram that has a CL of 3 or is it just the LanParty NFII Ultra B? If you haven't heard of that problem, no need in responding (not meaning to be rude). I've seen it throughout this forum time and time again, but I THINK it's just with my board. Please advise.
