Psu And Overcloking

im runing a a7m266-d with 2 mp's 2000 5 case fans (4 are tri color fans)

1 hd 1 cdrw one dvdrom 1 12inch ccfl flopy drive 2 sticks of ddr 512 ram geforce 4 ti4200 hercules game theather sound card . and the most over clock i've been able to get to 1738mhz on each cpu from the stock 1666 by puting the fsb up from 133 to 139 and the vcore from 1.75 to 1.85 after witch i get a blue screen a few seconds after i bout in to windows i was wondering if my 420w cwt psu is what is holding me back??

Dualies aren't know for their overclocking. Mainly because they heat up faster. However, if you think your power supply might be holding you back, try to get a hold of a friends and try using it, or try disconnecting the cathodes and any other useless accesories and see if you can get a higher overclock.

my duallie will get from the stock 2133 to 2208 and that's it. that is from 133 to 138 FSB OC. Any more and it wants too much voltage, or won't post at all. I just don't think the MPX chipset is any good for OCing. Haven't messed with RAM timings at all, but I doubt it will help... Good luck, post if you found a way to get more out of your chips.
