Stability Question

CPU-Z never reports voltages correctly for me, no matter which version I use. It is fine at stock, but once I start bumping the VCore, it gets all wacky. I don't use it for voltage monitoring at all. I trust what is in the BIOS, every other software program is a guess.

I just order the Corsair HX620w.

Hopefully I'll see better results, I'll try to post when I get it in, and after I tweak some RAM settings to follow a similar entry in the OCDB.

Thanks for the help all!

I have found a point at which I can run Prime95 and IOCCT for 12+ hrs.

290x10 1/1

Once I run UT2004, I get random GPF/blue-screens blah, blah, blah.

Would adding the GPU into the picture effect the stability...power supply maybe to cheap?

Any pointers on increasing my stability (I get crashes even at 280). RAM is good up to 300+ as far as I can tell.

I was just agreeing with you on your power supply ... now $29 after rebate.

But if you can get that baby to work, maybe I'll order one:)

Well I haven't finished yet...been working along and along.

295 x 10 (can't quite get 300).

Ram on 5/6.

Hopefully when I get the time and the nerve to deal with the RAM, I'll hit better numbers...
