Baditude Posted October 10, 2006 Posted October 10, 2006 Excuse me if i'm wrong , but , hasn't there been about 382 threads that address issues using Corsair w/ DFI boards ? Might that have been a hint of forseeable problem ? I did search before I posted and nothing really seemd to fit my problem. Besides I've been running the same board and memory for over a year and I only changed the CPU then my problem cropped up. Baditude Posted October 10, 2006 Posted October 10, 2006 I moved my ram to dimms 1 and 3 (Yellow) and this seemed to fix the problem. No more errors and it post at 12 x 225 just fine. The memory had been in the orange slots for about a year with no problems. Now what is suppose to be wrong with using the yellow dimm slots over the orange ones? Are they less likey to be stable?
