Does it reboot before the 'verifying DMI pool' (after it lists IRQs and HD info and stuff? )Then reboots, and does it again..and again if you leave it alone? DragonTattooz Posted October 6, 2006 Posted October 6, 2006 Probably memory timings. Is everything stock (no OC and no over volt)? Put one stick of RAM in the outer orange slot, boot into the BIOS and load optimized defaults. Then reboot, go back into the BIOS and set your RAM timings. I'm glad the PSU fixed the problem...You owe me a dollar.
lukewayne Posted October 6, 2006 Posted October 6, 2006 yes everything is stock. i've just pulled one stick of ram, im going to check corsair's site to check because i think that the ram wants 2.75v whereas default is 2.6 or 2.
DragonTattooz Posted October 6, 2006 Posted October 6, 2006 Look in the stock speed database to see if anyone has posted timings for your RAM. Actually, I went ahead and looked it up for you. Here's a link to the Corsair thread. I don't know if your RAM is there, but take a look.
