Donnie's Heros Posted May 21, 2006 Posted May 21, 2006 Well as the title suggests I am looking for some help on overclocking my nf4 ut-d mobo with the new 04/06/2006 BIOS. Here is my previous setup: Opteron 146 @ 2.9 GHz (290HTT x 10) DFI UT nf4-D (BIOS : 7.04-2BTA) 2X1GB G.Skill E.S. 2GBHZ @ 264 MHz (9/10 divider) Here are my memory settings (See attached photos) http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d6/VinnyTAMU/IMG_1263.jpg http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d6/VinnyTAMU/IMG_1261.jpg http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d6/VinnyTAMU/IMG_1262.jpg With the 7.04-2BTA BIOS these settings were Memtest and Prime-95 stable for 24+ hours. I then flashed to latest 04/06/2006 bios (when I setup my RAID) and applied the same settings, but can't pass even 1 loop of memtest. I get about 8 errors before the test ends. Now normally I would just flash back to my previous bios, but I am afraid since the RAID BIOS's are different it will create a problem with my RAID 0 array. Any help on how to get this system stable on the new 04/06/2006 BIOS would be greatly appreciated. Donnie
Slammin Posted May 21, 2006 Posted May 21, 2006 Flashing back won't affect your raid setup. As for your OC, you might try setting Twtr to 1, and maybe bump Trfc to 15 or 17.
