Syrax Posted May 7, 2006 Posted May 7, 2006 Just bought some new RAM for my computer and I had some problems installing them so I updated my BIOS to a version dated 2005/11/14 and all worked fine. Until I pluged in my SATA HDD to the motherboard, then it just freezes at startup when it is detecting the harddrives. Finding the IDE hdd's is no problem but when it comes to the SATA hdd it just freezes. Saying something like "Detecting Phy SATA drives" and it can stand there for an hour without any change. When I unplug the SATA drive the system works fine again... What's wrong?
