cal50 Posted March 22, 2006 Posted March 22, 2006 Well my Raid-0 array has me scratching my head wondering if I have an impending drive failure or just a file problem. I have 2 Seagate sata 200 gig drives. I run acronis true image to back up my array. Acronis will not image my array anymore. I get a unreadable sector error message in acronis. If I run chkdsk I do not get any errors. I did run sea-tools. In dos I can run tests on each drive separately. One drive tests good. The other test "bad" as unreadable sectors. Would you A) RMA the drive. B)Format the array and flag bad sectors and reload C) Use advise from the forum gurus here. I considered using partition magic and changing the partition size to just over the actual size to see if the unreadable sectors suddenly "move" to another partition. The sector error is my C partition. Suggestions please-
