  1. I know when the card is getting hot because its louder than a jet taking off.. u have to hold my pc down because it starts rising off the floor I tried MSI but still gets hot.. i'm sure its the case which is making it because it is kinda poorly ventilated but i cant help it apart from wait for $$ to roll in.. I looked at a comment saying someone is getting 75 FPS on GTX 570 when i barely get 45.. when i record i get 18 - 35 MAX and without FRAPS... probably about 32-40 (in not busy areas of the game) still playable but i dont want the card to die on me..
  2. I don't buy products separately, (custom built).. this is my first PC, i always used to use laptops so i needed to know how they work before custom building.. also i have overclocked it slightly so the warranty i was provided is probably void, it doesn't annoy me aslong as it wont kill my card.
  3. Yes it does it on crysis when i login to crynet. strange.
  4. Palit GTX 570 overclocked.. stressed and stable. (Dual Fans) ACER 1440 X 900 (19 inch) Its a galaxy gamer case.. i don't know model etc. ASUS M5A78L-M/USB3 Software may limit? ummmm, not as far as i know. seems to hit its true clockspeeds when in a game thats what vTune, EVGA PRECISION says anyway. Yes it is. I have not tried playing the games i mentioned only MOH, Minecraft & GTA IV also Left 4 Dead 2. i did some research and i noticed GTA IV isn't designed for PC but its playable & loud and i seem to get power surges from the MOBO ANTI SURGE feature so i disabled it and its all good. but still want to know if those games will burn my card IF i played them right now. everytime i check GPU temp after i leave the GTA IV game.. its usually around 70's but thats when i leave.
  5. I have palit GTX 570 with dual fans.. slightly overclocked. The card is great just on some loading screens it does that then it stops in games.
  6. Hello, i have noticed this a while back but never really thought anything of it. I recently played GTA IV & on the loading screen which showed the R* logo's.. i get a high pitch whistle from my system (unknown source) but i don't think i have anything in my case which can produce noise apart from fans and HDD which can't make high pitch noises? can they? but whenever it gets to the game or a menu, it stops.. i only really noticed it being loud on GTA IV loading screens.
  7. I have a GTX 570 @ 797/1950/1594 (i think) I have played a few games like GTA IV, MOH etc but the card gets loud and hot in GTA IV.. i get 30-40 fps while not recording but when fraps is enabled.. 18-35 fps but thats probably because my case is not cooled nicely. 1 intake fan. I am getting a new case soon so.. i hope my GPU lasts till march. Since the cards gets hot in MOH and GTA IV and GTA IV seems to trigger ASUS anti-surge after 30 minutes of play so i disabled it so.. strange. Would i be able to play: BFBC2, BF3, ALL Call of Duty's? without frying my card or CPU etc (AMD FX 4100 @ 4Ghz) the intake fan is small aswell but i can take the side window off and put a big fan (one that you use to keep cool in summer etc) and point it towards it but im worried about hairs and dust. HELLLLLLLLPPPPPPPPPPP.
  8. I didn't plan on rendering.. i'm not going to waste my time editing gameplay.. no fun at all. also because i recorded 10 minutes and it was 16GB.. 10 minutes goes fast. so... FRAPS, sucks.
  9. I have 1TB so i don't see how that is relevant.
  10. I just want a recorder which records in good/watchable quality and not huge file sizes and also does not have huge advertisment in your video.
  11. the bitrate was 11Mbit/s with max of 16 and was best settings with H.264 and i always do youtube videos with those settings and they are good sizes but when it comes to gameplay from FRAPS.... 100mb - 16GB for 10 minutes.
  12. Sorry to sound stupid, but i know how to convert with a programs that are video converters if you know what i mean and i only know how to render in AE so.. help haha
  13. Hello, i tried recording GTA IV with FRAPs and its great.. FPS is little low for a GTX 570.. 18 - 35 FPS.. anyway, when i leave the game and look at the movie (2 minutes long) its like 3-4GB.. i tried converting it and it came out at 18mb but quality was crap so i tried rendering it in After effects which was good quality but at 100-200mb for 2 minutes.. original fraps video was avi.. the after effects rendered at H.264 or something like that.. Why is it so large?
  14. wow :/ i can't seem to find any low prices.. if all motherboard allowed any CPU that would be a whoooooooooooooooooole that easier for everyone.. all i really want is i5 or cheap i7 with a intel compatible board, PSU, HDD can wait..
  15. Well if i am going to afford all that, i would have to sell my current CPU, MOBO, HDD, whatever else im buying.. the PSU has ebay warranty on it so you can take that off as 700w is good. £405 for that, wow shows howw much GPU adds the price up O_O.. I don't see myself selling a CPU, MOBO, CASE, HDD for £400. What do you suggest?
