I wish there would be an Athlon II Black Edition.
And I've read that part that says Athlon II 635 can be set to x15 multiplier. Please confirm.

Anyway here's one weirdo. Look at the 4 dots in the middle for atleast 30 sec, don't move your eyes even a tiny bit. Then look at a blank wall. Blink your eyes a few times and you should see something i'd compare to Jesus or Robinson Crusoe. Altho note that there shouldn't be any direct lighting on the wall you look at.
Man this is awesome!... and scary at the same time.

So if I run crysis for about 2 hours on this...will it cook my ribeye?
I'm thinking the battery will be depleted sooner than 2 hours.

I found these lying around the house. These are my dad's. The bigger balisong is crappy, I don't know anything about the metal but I think its not good. The handle is made of brass and plastic (red).
The smaller one is good, its made of carbon steel of some sort. The handle is made of brass and wood.
The handles and blade are connected with steel rods hammered in place.
These are made locally. I live in the Philippines. Most authentic
blades are made/forged from junk Leaf Springs. I don't know how much these cost today but it's safe to say its around 2-10 USD. -
Would there be price drop for the Phenom 965? I hope...

It could be you CPU that is causing the instability leading to those crashes.
I suggest you try to run Prime95 or AMD Overdrive Stability Test for a few minutes.
If you got no crashes then we can say that your CPU is fine.

I had the same problem of random shut-downs when I was playing Fallout 3 at WinXP. But I didn't happened when I played COD4. We know Fallout 3 is CPU intensive.
It could be your CPU that's having the problem. Are you using a stock cooler? Have you checked your CPU temps?
Try to disable CPU fan control at your BIOS settings and keep it at full speed.
It could also be your CPU Voltage. That's a 90nm Athlon right?
I could be wrong but hope this helps a bit.

You know you been playing too much when you lift some really heavy stuff and you say to yourself 'Maximum Strength'. Then your skin turns reddish...
You know you've been playing too much Fallout 3 when you hit 'V' on the keyboard while playing Left 4 Dead or any other game...

I was searching Google using "GPU History" as keywords but the search results wasn't that satisfying. Google thought I'm looking for "Gay People's Union".
But I found this using "Graphics Card History" as keywords. From Voodoo to GeForce: The Awesome History of 3D Graphics

if this confuses the consumer , he can go with AMD ..
Agree! Words of wisdom right there. :thumbs-up:

So these will definitely confuse the average consumer seeking an IGP setup.

Question, so if someone buys this i5 661 and put it on a P55 chipset will they be able to use it's IGP? So if an i5 750 is placed on an H55, the mobo's on-board VGA/DVI wont work 'coz there's no GPU for it? Or are they not compatible at all even if they're of the same socket? Thanks.

They connected the L1 pins horizontally, glued the gap between the bridges for the conductive paint to stick to.

We use Asus A7N8X-X mobo for ou Athlon XP.

That's too old. I think you can unlock it's multiplier and overclock it. I haven't tried it with my old Palomino though.

I also had the problem of Yao Guai, Deathclaw and Super Mutant showing up and raping me out of nowhere. Thats why I chose to build my character into PERCEPTION type (8 Perception on game start) so enemies from a distant would immediately show up on the radar for me to evade. I also wear Wasteland Wanderer Outfit to improve perception. SNEAK build and Silent Running Perk works very well for me - I can put live grenades on Raiders' pockets and then they will just say ". me!" then BOOM!

We have an Athlon XP 1600+ Palomino (1.4Ghz, socket 462) working and being used every day. But it's at it's dying stage that even at its stock speed its unstable. I clocked it down to 1.2Ghz, works good enough.

Well it's really hot here in south east asia and I don't have airconditioning. But my cpu is stable even if its under the stock heatsink with heatpipes that doesn't seem to work so I'm not taking it as a problem. Good thing you don't have heat waves there on a daily basis. :thumbs-up:
I'll try to go lower than 1.3V @ 15.5X200=3.1Ghz and see if it's stable.
And for (

Try to open GPU-Z and see if the PCI-E is running in 16x lanes. If it's running less than that (e.g. PCI-E @ 1x) you may need to correct it through bios or remove the GPU and clean the pins.
I had this problem with my GPU running slow. I found out that it's running at 1x lane. I cleaned the GPU pins and its back to 16x.
Hope this helps.
