This is my ramm Ramm 512 333 cosir value (DFI hates it) 2X 256 400 hyunda 512 433 Infereon (DFI hates it) So my mobo DFI NF3 Ultra D now runs 1GB of ramm in slot 3 and 4..it seems the ramm hates to be run in a single config meaning 1 in slot 1 and 1 in slot 3 yet in a dual channel config they run fine at 333 and 400 MHZ with slighter higher timmings to offset the diffrance in them...they have me floored because I tried this in slot 1 and 2 didn't work thought the ram didn't like the mobo end of story... Somehow the ramm that the mobo hates will run together in dual config only with the newest DFI bios for the board,I ahve been trying to get them to run on and off for months....and now boom they work they are happy together 0-o I am like 1.I am good 2.this mofoer mobo is messing with me 3.lucky bastard or 4 the lucky mofoing bastard with a computer than likes head games.....why cant I have a GF that likes "head games" ;_; why cant I have a GF at all.....wwwwwwwwwwaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!! >> so I put in my 2X 256 400 hyunda and now I am running 1.5GB of ramm stable and responsive, 2.5,3,3,6 10 T2 at 16 idle at 166Mhz My vid card is a AGP BFG OC GT 6800 3dmark has shown a drop of 10 points but I still above 11 thousand I have bench tested burned in this new config...I am still confused....but happy? 0_o I watered down the water down cussing so I wont get into to much trouble*L*

BTW my 3dmark scores are 12K wth a BFG 256 OC 6800 mostly were 9-10 on the othermobos I have soem questions DO I need a new bios IS thier anyhting in the bios I need to tweak or be wary of? the rig more or less (CPU mobo and ramm updated to above) just to have a comp running is currenly set on a wood table top out of case connected all togather forlite trouble shooting and wire repair,goig to stick it back into its case soon. Ok so I been looking over ramm,need some new,so this is the best I can find for price cost and speed GBage *L* http://www.directron.com/ocz4002gpfdck.html at 172 for 2GB of ramm if it will work it will be worth it bascily with the state of PC gameing this is the last upgrade I am doing for acouple years plus I want my PC back togather..its atop the case the cas eit on its side and I have it in "benchmark" mode with the a back up mobo that bearly works hates cold boots to the point of cmos reseting and even if XP shutsdown overall speed is ok I can a 9 or 10K in 3dmark 03 so I know tis running ok *L* itd just be nice to be able to see my kingwin minatuor case *L* I want the best ramm at least 1GB worth that 200 can buy any sugestions?

I have a question,Would I be better of payign 250 for 500Mhz ramm GelX or Cosair Platium or getting normal Platium 400MHZ ram whitch is 100-150 cheaper? Mmmmmmmmm I dont see my slef touching Vista and games are dieing by the dosen on the PC but I want at least a gig ...mmmmmm *sigh* its almost like I would be better off saveign the money for a 360 or PS3 *L*

*L* ok sicne this is going to be fun lets go over the bascis I have a Antec 24pin PSU tester it can be used with a multi meter and I ahve one of thos to when I tested it it ran 12V or more. Frist off How do know whitch bios I have when booting? what bios should I use? Next is how do I find the numbers of my ram so then I can go and find its timeings,sicne I am unsure of the timeings.

adreno I think I missed your post *L* I mostly fooled with the timeings at least the frist 2 or 3 under the t1/t1 setting in the dram config in the bios. if that alone will not make it run right then I need a bit more help seting this thing up,mmm I probly would be better off gettign a 1GB kit that the board likes?
