Hi I'm new at this forum, and I am in need of some serious help. Tonight I may have screwed up my processor for good.
When I restarted my bios(which is an asus bios) it told me that my computer on the last boot had hung for an improper time. Becuase of this it dropped my cpu frequency down to 100mghz. I figured that this was just some bogus precaution, so i bumped the frequncy up to 133mghz. I saved and exited then it poceeded to boot. But...it didn't boot at all. The monitor is completley blank when on, as where it shoudl be showing the boot up. I know some of you are thinking my video card may be un hinged from the AGP slot. Well the video card is in there nice and snug. The computer itself will not boot. So I'm left with the question how do i get it to work.? The processor is a AMD Athlon 1.2 ghz T-bird. And does support the new mobo chipset. Any help with this would be greatlty appreciated. Thanks.
