  1. Hmm well I did an RMA on my Ram .... didn't think this new set would be faulty as well .. guess not, did the memtest and it has hung twice now both at exactly 22:15! Time to email Kingston again.. hopefully this will solve my problem!
  2. Well, I set the dram settings according to specs .. but didn't play with the voltage (I think it's already on stock 2.6 which this ram is rated for) I'll try the memtest tonight when I go to bed Any chance this could be from overheating? (the 120mm fan in the back isn't working for some reason so I need to replace it..) note: nothing has been overclocked! Thanks for all the help so far!
  3. Thanks for the info .. so how do I go about trouble shooting this? I can't afford to get new Ram to test it .. are there settings or something that I can try?
  4. I have the same problem though .. connection works and all but sound through speakers is a little funny ... grrr
  5. oops, didn't have that in my sig .. it's an Antec Neopower 480W I just RMA'd the RAM those are two new sticks .. and set at default settings.. u think its the RAM? Is there a way to look up the error code?
  6. I've put my rig together for a few months now .. haven't had time to try and overclock it or anything .. seems to run smoothly, but every once in a while my computer will give me the blue screen. Weird thing is it only happens at night when I'm sleeping or when I'm out .. never when I'm actually physically there using the the computer. Although there may or may not be some program running in the background downloading or something. The error message says the following: Machine_Check_Exception Tech Info: Stop: 0x0000009C (0x00000004, 0x80545ff0, 0xB2000000, 0x00070F0F) Everything is still set at stock settings .. can anyone tell me what is causing this? Thanks! Mike
  7. Stash, see post #17 above .. that is housecat's final connection to get it working as best as he can I have yet to fully complete my rig to see if I can improve the mic at all
  8. lol nm about the pictures, I saw the link ... can't believe I missed it the first read-over
  9. Yeah that front panel audio is too cool not to have working! THanks, I'll give it a shot! Do you still have a pic of your wiring setup?
  10. Trying to put together my rig ... can you give me the final combo that works? I started to get it all mixed up with what you posted and what was the final solution Did you get the mic to work now too or just the headphones without the "aqua" ? THX!
  11. Cool thanks I'm going to look for that thread .. not sure if I got them matched up right! and by outside module I'm assuming you mean the pins located right beside the CD-in pinset on that module? Well at least I'm not worried about that extra LED cable! Thanks guys!
  12. So I can either use the back plugs .. or take the jumpers off and connect it to the front panel and use my headphones only?? I'm trying to figure out how to connect my front panel stuff on my case..
