CheeseMan42 Posted May 5, 2016 Posted May 5, 2016 Before Siri was a staple on all of the latest iOS devices, it was created at the Stanford Research Institute by Dag Kittlaus, Adam Cheyer and Tom Gruber, who sold the company to Apple in 2010. The team then started to work on its next endeavor, another Artificial Intelligence project named Viv. Viv aims to "take things one step further than Siri," allowing users to complete actions from start to finish without any physical interaction with their devices. This advanced functionality is made possible through partnerships with popular applications such as Uber and Grubhub. The team plans to show off the software at an industry conference on Monday, providing an excellent platform to bring attention to the new platform.
