CheeseMan42 Posted March 29, 2016 Posted March 29, 2016 Researchers at Oxford University using the Google DeepMind artificial intelligence are planning to use it to analyze Hearthstone and Magic: The Gathering card games. In the current state of the project the team isn't setting out to teach a computer to play the games, but rather is using it to "analyse card data and transform it into code." Using DeepMind allows them to translate the information on the cards including description text and resource costs into code that may be able to take on top players in those games at some point.
