Building a Benching Station

I would like to build myself a bench testing station loosely based on one of Navig's designs.

So far, my requirements are for air cooled systems, using ATX & mATX boards.

Eventually I'd like to move to H2O cooling.

I'm unsure about what size to build it. Perhaps those of you that have one could tell what size

yours is, and any shortcomings you would fix if you were making or buying a new one.

Maybe you could try to incorporate some kind of modular aspect to the design, where you can add another layer later for the water cooling specific components?
