This is what i currently have: http://tweakers.net/pricewatch/245264/ocz-gold-ddr3-pc3-12800-low-voltage-dual-channel/specificaties/ http://www.electrobyt.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=2638#.VLrL4keG8eg This is what is for sale: http://tweakers.net/pricewatch/224391/ocz-gold-ddr3-pc3-12800-low-voltage-triple-channel/specificaties/ http://www.electrobyt.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=2639#.VLrMb0eG8eg The idea: I have read you can use triple channel DDR3 in an dual channel DDR3 slot and it will work as single channel DDR3 (disatvantage). But i need added Memory with thesame CAS of my current memory i think, so i pick that because i have children and a wife so no money. Sorry if this is posted in the wrong subthread, it has hardly anything to do with overclocking. I just didnt saw the point of making another topic for thesame PC (upgrade)

Awesome, i want to use the money for a headset anyway! Many thanks for the help, to all of you! 1 Last question popped up considering buying the memory. The vendor wants to be sure i could use it because the memory i have is basically triple channel memory. If my research is correct i need more memory with the same CAS anyhow in the 2 blacks lots. So although it is triple channel memory and although the second set in the black slots will only work as single channel memory (disadvantage) i am still better buying 2 times 2GB of the same vendor/type. Am i right here you badasses?

I can get the MSI P55A-GD65 for 50 euro only. This board has 2 sata3 and 2 usb3.0. My current board has none of those.

187 euro incl. shipping for an R9 290 52 euro incl. shipping for an noctua D14 40 euro incl. shippping for 2 sticks of 2GB OCZ gold PC3 12800 internal memory That is a total of 280 euro, so i have 70 euro left for a motherboard. Would it be better if i did replace the motherboard? What GL1156 socket based motherboards have usb 3.0, better PCI-e slots, have better sata ports and is a well known oc motherboard plz? Maybe i can find it, i am resourcefull

I only have 4GB Here is my current build. The SSD has been replaced with vertex 450 by ocz because the original ssd broke down but was still in waranty. https://www.dropbox.com/s/z30y5hr6clbm2eq/Current.jpg?dl=0 I can buy 4GB RAM of thesame brand/type for about 50 euro and an R9 290 GPU for 180 euro. Then i would wrap this one up and make a new build in about 2 years time. I would want to play gta5 and battlefield4 with this pc. What are your toughts? Is my plan making sense?

People are selling their d14's in favor of closed water loops. I bought a d14 for half the retail price. So I will overclock my i5 760. I also need more memory. Should I buy 4gb more of the same memory for 50 Euros? Or should I install a new 16gb kit with higher clocks that I can use in my new build 2 years later?

Thx, i have a Asus P7H55-V iH55, SATA300, GLAN BTW. Cooler, I need to buy it but it is an investment. Once you have it you can use it indefinitely as long as you maintain/replace the fans. Thanks again for the replies!
