My final result: 3070,5MHz @ 1,44V (267x11,5) (OC of 770,5MHz) 2136MHz HT Link & Northbridge (OC of 336MHz) 534MHz RAM (DDR2-1068) 5-5-5-15-21 @ 2,2V (4x1GB) CPU-Z Validator 3.1 Temperatures: Idle: 31 -

i got a little bit further... so my highest core clock which is completly stable still is 3060 MHz @ 1,44V (255x12; 1,45 VID) but my HT and NB now are at 2040 MHz with 1,3V CPU NB VID i also got it prime stable (only testet 30 minutes) at 3108MHz @ 1,44V (259x12; 1,45 VID); 2072MHz HT but everything more than 3060 will get me random system freezes... even without load. found something abt this in the web and highered the southbridge voltage to get rid of the freezes @ 3060, but on higher clocks it doesn't work... my screenshot @ 3108MHz (Prime / CPU-Z / SpeedFan) Screenshot maybe someones got an idea to get rid of the freezes? greetz -

ok, i've found the problem... HT Link and NB didn't do any more than 1800MHz lowered the multi and my highest FSB was more than 270. So i got it Prime stable @ 3060MHz at 255*12 with ddr @ 1020 effective and 1785 NB and HT. Vcore: 1,44V 660MHz overclock, i'm happy ;-) -
Hey guys, I'm trying to OC my Phenom 9750. FSB 219MHz works perfectly Prime95 stable with 1,375 VID (1,36V real). FSB 220MHz doesn't boot even with a VID of 1,45V. Northbridge and HT multipliers and RAM dividers are lowered as you can see in my CPU-Z validation (NB multi = HT multi). CPU-Z Validator 3.1 Prime95 temperatures Other Informations: PSU: Antec TruePower Trio 650W Case: Antec Twelve Hundred (all fans 'high') CPU Cooler: Thermalright Ultra 120 TRUE black CPU Fans: 2x SilenX IXP-76-18 120mm 96cfm A few ideas would be pretty helpful ;-) And btw: How high should i set the CPU VID maximal for everyday use? greetings
