Ok, now i know a lot of you are quite adept at computers...so i need your help.
I have recently upgraded my computer
it went from this:
1900 AMD
512mb ram
Geforce2ti 64mb
it's now
1900AMD
768mb ram (would be 1024 if one ram wasn't bust)
Geforce4ti 128,
However it seems my Window98 first edition hates anymore than 512mb of ram. So in DX Diag it shows only 3mb of Graphics, so no game runs and many things crash.
Is there something that can be done to tell windows i have that amount of ram?
The Bios says: 768mb ram as does the System icon in windows which tells you who owns the computer etc. But it doesn't thing i have 128mb of graphics power. So whats going on? I have reinstalled directX 9.0a and that doesn't work.
So im asking you all to please help! It even stumped my computer man
