  1. I picked up a 670 a couple of weeks ago and it's been a hell of a performer so far. Runs nice and cool too, around 65 degrees under load in my case. Fans can get a little bit loud but it's more than tolerable, especially given the performance.
  2. So I just got my new EVGA 670 superclocked today, and it runs Diablo 3 beautifully, of course. I decided to download 3D Mark 11 Basic and have a go. The report came back with my core clock at 705MHz but the specs on the card have it at 967MHz (1046MHz when boosted). Am I just reading this wrong?
  3. Newegg has an EVGA GTX550 Ti for $135, $115 after rebate. http://www.newegg.co...N82E16814130625
  4. I've got the EVGA Superclocked GTX670 coming tomorrow. Upgrading from HD3000 graphics, lol. Can't wait to test it out on Diablo III and anything else I decide to pick up for my rig now that it's finally complete.
  5. I've got my GTX670 on the way. I picked up the EVGA Superclocked. Can't until it gets here.
  6. YES! I have a buddy who's got a newegg premium account and helped me out. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130783 This'll be showing up on Tuesday, just in time for Diablo III. WOOT!
  7. I don't know if the TT article was authentic or not (not much reason to believe it wasn't), but if it is, then I'm holding out for the GTX670. It outstrips the 580 by such a wide margin that it seems silly to bother with a 560 Ti 448 or a 570 at this point.
  8. Whatever it is, I'll take one. If the TT GTX670 review is to be believed, the stats are perfect for me.
  9. Well, I do want to get something that can take on more taxing games in the near future. I'm torn because the pricing on the GTX570 right now is very tempting, but there are a hell of alot more cores on a GTX660, if the specs are to be believed. If it comes out around the $350-$400 mark, I'm not going to be happy at all should I decided to spend now. There just isn't any info out there as to a possible release window and it's a little frustrating. You'd think they'd at least hint at something, to generate hype.
  10. Diablo III is just around the corner and is the sole reason I built a new gaming rig. I've held off on getting a video card, instead using the HD3000 integrated on the i5 2500K. The wait for an announcement on the GTX660 or 670 is killing me. I may just put off playing D3 until I can pick one of those up but I have gamers OCD. OH, THE HUMANITY!
  11. Did you check Microcenter? I got my i5 2500K for $180, which was $50 less than newegg. At the time, the i7 2700K was under $300. Not sure why you'd bother with the i7 2600K at that price point.
  12. Wow, those numbers are very impressive. I've held off on getting a card because I'm waiting for Diablo III to drop. Now that I've seen the specs, I may be willing to spend a little extra on a 600 series card instead of buying a 500 series. Diablo isn't supposed to be out until early summer (estimate), and I would guess Keplar will have been out of a little bit at that point. This is good news for me.
  13. $50 cheaper than it was a week ago. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127582
  14. Fans of Super Smash Bros especially, check this out, rofl! This dude does some really good work. He's got a couple of other videos too, but they are decidedly less kid friendly (no swearing or nudity, but relatively gory).
  15. I haven't actually gotten around to buying a card yet. The one in my sig is just what I was considering. Wife moved out recently so I've got to finish buying furniture first, lol.
