Since any Laptop will do, I'm thinking of going with this one. Looks like it's built like a truck, for a truck ... hehe

I'm currently using a Hitchi laptop HDD SATA II 7200 rpm and it does what I need it to do but game load times are rather long and too much pausing during game play so any of these SSd's sound like a major performance improvement. There's a Crucial 128GB m4 CT128M4SSD2 at Amazon.com for $119 shipped { 8 ^ D Thanks for all the info everyone !

I'll be going to school in August to get my Commercial Driver's License and then most likely will be doing Over The Road trucking (OTR). I'll have a DC to AC converter so I'll be able to recharge the Laptop battery no prob, but was wondering what the best Laptop would be for a Semi truck environment. Was thinking satellite to connect to the internet but someone said I can tether the :aptop to an iPone, etc. Does anyone have any experience using a Laptop while trucking and if so, ANY info would be appreciated ... Thanks

I'm waiting for replies tp some other posts I made, regarding upgrading my current system and thought I'd ask to find out what's what in the PC gaming builds these days. Maximum layout is $500 and all I will need are the tower components

I can get a PCI audio card (Creative Audigy series) for cheap. Why are X1 cards still so expensive?

I'm waiting for replies to another post, about maybe upgrading my CPU. Meanwhile, I thought I'd ask for AM3+ motherboard recommendations. I game using a 460 GTX 1GB card and will likely upgrade this when the prices drop some more on the 570 GTX cards (I can wait, I'm in no hurry). I do not plan to do any mulltiple graphics card gaming, just one card.

I have an Athlon II x3 445 CPU running at 3.4GHz and was wondering if it was a good time to upgrade? It's been a while since I checked but Iast I saw, AM3+ was the rave. I have an Asus AM3 mobo so any CPU upgrade would have to work on that board.

What card do you recommend for a smooth 1920 x 1080P gaming experience ?

what's the best bang for the buck today, regarding SSD 120GB or there abouts?

I've been running 2-way SLI with MSI 460 GTX 1GB Cyclones and want to go the one card route. I want a very quiet running card (when under load) and I've been reading about these three ... Gigabyte GV-N570SO-13I MSI N570GTX Twin Frozr III PE/OC ASUS ENGTX570 DCII/2DIS/1280MD5 The ASUS ENGTX570 DCII/2DIS/1280MD5 price is much lower than the other two ... must be a reason ? I've read that nVidia will hopefully release the kepler series in the first Q of 2012 ... should I go with a 570 GTX or wait ? My max $$$ to spend is $375 and I'm thinking that the Kepler will cost more than that, when it's first released
