  1. Thanks for the reply, where can I download this psu calcualor from?
  2. Hey guys, which psu should I buy? The Antec Hign Current Pro 850w or the Seasonic X 750w. Both are about evenly priced the Seasonic being 10$ ore then the Antec. The Antec High Current Pro 750w has 4 12v rails, at 40amps and the Seasonic has 1 12v rail at 63 amps. Which one be better for my system? I do plan on overclocking the CPU to about 4.8 ghz (if possible) and the GPU as well. Specs: i5 2500k, Asus P8P67 Pro, G.Skill Ripjaws 1600mghz or 1866mghz (haven't decided yet) WD black 500gb, MSI Twin Frozr II GTX 580, HAF 922 with side window (have I missed anything?) Thanks
  3. Was gonna get the 850w version so that I could sli in the future but apparently 850w isn't enough for sli 580's , so just went with a 750 Thanks for the reply btw
  4. Hey guys I'm gonna build my gaming computer and was wondering if a 750w will be enough for me. I do plan to overclocking my CPU quite high like 4.7 ghz or 4.6 ghz and the psu I choose is 90 % efficient and gold certified here are my specs. i5 2500k, Asus P8P67 Pro, WD Blue 1 TB, MSI GTX 580 twin Frozr II PE/ OC (I do plan to OC), Coolermaster elite 431 plus with side panel, G.Skill Ripjaws 1600 mghz 8 gigs, noctua nh-d14, seasonic x750, and 5 case fans. Am I missing anything? :s Do you think it'll be enough?? Or do I need a 850w ?? Ooo yeah and the PSU has a single 64 amp rail
  5. Hey guys I was wondering which motherboard to get, both offer different features on the sabertooth side it is a p67 chipset which would do good with my i5 2500k and it has 8+2 CPU phases which is suppose to be good for overclocking, which I intend to do, the maximus gene has supreme fx audio and gamefish and it looks AWESOME!! but it's a p55 chipset and I'm not surer hor manyphases it has, I plan to do mostly gaming and I plan on over clocking, pleese help me decided which one to get. Thanks
  6. Hey guys I am new to the OC scene and wanted to know how to OC my new i5 2500k, I've looked at videos on YouTube but most say how to OC the turbo mode or OC to a certain MHz and not how to OC in to the fullest potential of my CPU and CPU cooler whilst being stable, could you please give my the steps to OC my i5 2500k, here are my specs i5 2500k, Noctua NH-D14, Asus P8P67 Pro, 1600 MHz 8gb of ram g.skill ripsaws x cl9 Thanks
  7. Ohh and almost forgot I I get the hyper 212 should I get better fans for it?
  8. Thanks for the feedback I found a 850w psu with 70a to 12v rails but it say that it's maximum power is 750w is this good for a gtx 580 or not also I went with the 430 elite because of it airflow, it docent have the best cable management but I figure it'll be fine because the psu is fully modular; also are you sure about the hyper 212 + can it give me a 4+ OC?
  9. I meant to say 2sticks of 4gb, what MHz do you think I can achieve with a noctua nh d14? Cus I'm looking for 4.5 ghz or more will that be possible
  10. Hey guys I have a new build and I wanted to know whether to go with the Asus P8P67 M Pro (8 phase) or a Asus Sabertooth P67 (18 phase) their ruflly a 90 dollar difference were I'm from so I don't know if I should go with the sabertooth which one is better for over clocking a i5 2500k? This is what I'm planning on getting, i5 2500k, noctua nh-d14, (mobo), g.skip Ripjaws x 1600mhz cl9 4x2, WD blue 1TB, MSI GTX 580 pe/oc, Antec Trupower 750w, Coolermaster Haf 922 with side window (if I get the P8P67 M Pro) or eighter a Coolermaster elite 430 or the Coolermaster centurion II red edition (if I get the sabertooth) And top of that do you think a 750w PSU will be enough? Thanks
  11. Thank for the welcoming , yeah the low latency ram is 20 dollars cheaper
