Yeah. You're right about the SSD. Damn near used up half of it already, with just the OS, and some other bits on it. Here she is. Got her built over the weekend. One at the minute, vital component that i forgot to get, was the wifi card. I've ordered one now. Should be here tomorrow. I ordered Metro 2033, and GTA IV: CE, and i couldn't play them because i needed the internet to install them. Haha! Oh well. Here's some pictures for you. http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/692/imag0082ej.jpg/ http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/148/imag0086w.jpg/ http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/651/imag0087m.jpg/ http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/23/imag0088d.jpg/ http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/9/imag0090no.jpg/ http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/847/imag0091v.jpg/

Do you think? I was thinking of giving that one to my mate, and getting the 128gb. But, 64gb is still enough for the OS and a favourite game, isn't it? I'm going to be a little strapped for cash over the following weeks, as i build up my collection of PC games that i've been dieing to get. So a larger SSD will have to wait, for now.

Hey guys. Sorry i havn't been on in a while. Just thought i'd give you an update on how things are going. I've changed some of the parts of i was going to order around a little. I've got my CM 690II Advanced, Corsair HX750, Asrock P67 Extreme4, 2x8gb Corsair Vengeance, 64gb Crucial RealC300 SSD, Samsung 1tb F3 Spinpoint, LG Blu-ray rom, CM 212+, I5 2500k, and Sapphire HD 6950 Dirt3 Edition. Accessories are: Razer Deathadder, Microsoft SideWinder X4 and Creative HS800 Fatal1ty headset. All i'm waiting for to arrive now, is the CPU, Cooler, and Windows 7. Should be looking to build it over next weekend. I'll get some pictures for you, as i do. Can't believe how big the 6950 is. It's HUGE!! I'm sure it fits in the 690II though. Thanks for your help, everyone.

Nevermind. I bit the bullet on the Extreme4. That price was too good to say no to. That's another thing to cross off my list.

Need a quick decision, as i'm looking at motherboards, and i've found an ASRock P67 Extreme 4 for £117, but they only have one left. Question is, out of the Extreme 4, and the ASUS P67 Pro, which is the less troublesome board. At the minute, the only thing i like about the ASUS is the colour scheme, everything else, the Extreme 4 seems to have, except for bluetooth, i think, which i'm never going to use. Price wise, cheapest i've found the ASRock was £131, until i found it for £117. The P67 Pro is going for about £140.

To be honest, i havn't been doing much research on Bulldozer, so i'm not too sure on it.

Yeah, i picked up the 8gb Corsair Vengeance for £70. It was the cheapest i found it, so i thought i'd bag that before they jacked the prices up. I'm going to get AX850 as it's only £20 more than the 750, so it should be more than sufficient for a long while.

    2x8gb? *facepalm* Sorry, i meant to say 2x4gb. I'll fix that. Yeah, i'm getting the I5 2500k.

Thought i would start this now, and share with you my up and coming build. So far, i've just ordered my CM 690 II Advanced, and 2x4GB corsair Vengeance, and that's going to do me for a week, till i buy anything else. This is what i'm upgrading from: A Radeon 9550, 512mb crucial ram and 160gb HDD. That's all i recognised in there. This is a build that my dad made me in like 2004-2005, i think, when all that was top end stuff. lol.
  10. You know what? 690 II it is. Thanks a lot guys.
  11. I have checked out the Phantom, not too sure on it. I've checked out a few Silverstones, but the one's that i like, are like £250-£300.
  12. I see. Well, this is what i'm going for: I5 2500k ASRock P67 Extreme4 2x8 Corsair Vengeance 1 ASUS HD 6950 DCU II (May add a second at a later date) Corsair AX 750 caviar black I think it's also worth a mention that i just found the K62 £10 cheaper.
  13. Thank you for taking the time to reply. Despite the way the votes have turned. I'm seriously considering the K62. One question involving the cases though. Will they both run adequately cool with a crossfire setup. I'm going to get a single 6950 DCUII for now. And then maybe another one later on. As long as they're not going to overheat in either case, i'm happy. They're going to be air-cooled, and i'm not going to flash them to 6970's.
  14. Hello, i'm trying to decide on a case. Originally, i was going with the HAF X, but i feel that i should go for something smaller, after looking at the other two cases, i've kind of gone off the HAF X a little aswell. It's still an option though. The HAF X being about £125 is the most expensive, and i don't really want to go any higher than that. The Lian Li is inbetween, at about £100, and appears to be quite rare over here, as i've only found third party sellers on amazon, selling it. And the CM 690 II, at, i think, £60-£70 is the cheapest. Looks wise, as said earlier, i'm in two minds about the HAF X now. I like it's kind of rough, machine-like looks, but i also wouldn't mind something a bit neater, such as the K62, or 690 II. The Lian Li, and CM 690 II are kind of on par in my mind, two really nice looking cases. Not to mention that, the blue led fans in the last two, will match my mouse and keyboard, which saves me replacing the ones in the HAF X. Anyway, that's about it, really. If you can help me with my decision, that would be smashing, as i'm struggling here.
  15. Pff... That's my fetish. I usually sprint home when it's dark, whether i have or havn't seen a scary movie, out of the fear of being sexually assaulted. In all seriousness, i can watch scary movies now-a-days without giving a damn, but going back to when i was nipper, all that comes to mind at this minute is The Blair Witch Project. That stuff freaked me out. I do have to sleep with the hall light on after watching some Most Haunted, i don't believe that show is remotely true, i do however believe in ghosts, because it makes ghost stories a lot better, but i think Most Haunted play on it way too much. Only reason i watch it is because i like the idea of going around derelict buildings and places once inhabited by monks, looking for spirits. Sorry i know you're talking about movies, just thought i'd add that in there.
