Topics I've Started

17 March 2019 - 04:01 PM

Ok so I purchased a Asus Rx Vega Strix oc from Newegg for $269 instead of a Rtx 2060

Mainly because of the 3 free games and it is pretty much equal to a 2060 minus the Ray tracing that we are still waiting for.

I will be the first to admit that I am a Nvidia fanboy so this was a very hard decision but I think I made the right choice.

I am have some issues adjusting as far as overclocking and temps & and for some reason I can use Msi afterburner without fan control problems.

I think My heat issues I suspect are from my case , the maserbox 5 pro is NOT a good case for airflow do not buy !!!

any advice would be helpful

So I have a $75 credit for Amazon and I need a GPU

Should I get a RTX 2060 for $275 minus the $75 Amazon credit

or $289/$259 mir Vega 56 Air boost from newegg making it $259

The 2060 comes with 1 of 3 games

The vega comes with 3 games

Okay so I I have found myself in quite the pickle. I could either purchase a new monitor or upgrade my graphics card my system is as followed
8600 k at 5ghz
EVGA GTX 1080 FTW hybrid
16 gigs of ddr4 3200
And my monitor is an Acer 24 in 1080p 75 hz led
I have about $400 play with. My question is do I buy a new g-sync monitor to complement my 1080 should i I sell my 1080 for $300 and by an RTX 2080
