i give up on AMD i mean 10% slower than the 1060 for the same price

i will just stick to second hand cards i will let everyone else spend their money lol

i picked up 2 7970ghz for $100 for the pair and then i got a pair of gtx 970's for $250 for the pair lmbo

with everyone chasing those few fps its amazing how desperate they get

maybe you guys are on to something i think i just burnt myself out chasing the 'latest and greatest'

i think i need to focus more on what brought me to pc's in the first place custom builds and repairs.

i haven't done either in a long time. thank you guys for the redirect.

this may sound harsh but this is my personal feeling I pray to God everybody involved with Bitcoin mining and all crypto currencies are inflicted with the worst case of carpal tunnel that they will never be able to touch a keyboard or mouse ever again

#1980763 Gaming monitor 24"-27"

Posted by jdm_freek on 15 December 2011 - 10:57 AM

Hi guys, im about to change my Samsung 2233BW with a new monitor. I've looked for days several monitors and now i am undecided on which of these to buy. Here's my list in no particular order of preference:

Asus VK278Q
Philips 273E3LSB/00
Iiyama B2776HDS-1
Benq XL2420T or XL2410T

Any of you owns one of these monitors? How are they? Which is best for you, considering i will use it almost only for gaming.
If you have any suggestions on other monitor that i've not listed there just let me know please; budget is not much an issue cause im looking also at the Samsung S27A950D for the 120Hz and 3D, but its the last choice probably due to the little use of 3D i'll have with games.

Thank you

before you pick a manufacture read up on their dead pixel policy
i went with acer and a month after purchase wham three dead pixels
their policy states this is within reason $300 wasted
