Well I'm looking at getting one of the above and I am curious of what you all think of them ? I play a lot of all types including wow and other Games.

well i think im going to drop down to a 5870 atm im using a 1680x1050 21in screen so i think the 5970 would be overkill at this point

ok so all i have used and had experience with is single rail power supplies how would you use a 1000watt power supply with 4-6 rails ?

everywhere i look seems to suggest atleast 1000watts of power on the psu for 5970 crossfire why so ?

Well by reading what you guys are saying I guess I'm just over estmating the power usage of this build when I get home I will check out that corsair and the cp-850 then compare the 2 or maybe there is anothr good psu that can bundle with the antec 1200 on newegg

Well with that cox power supply and the antec 1200 I get a extra $40 when I order them together so is 850watts work what about antecs cp-850 power supply which I also get a bundle discount with

So you would go with the 850watt atx psi you listed for the antec cox power supplies ?

But won't overclocking the processor raise power requirements ? And also what is the general census on the cox power supplies ?

Ok to begin with this will be my 2nd desktop build trying to keep it at around $1900 but i want a 5970 on it. This is what i have came up with so far on my new I7 build http://secure.newegg.com/WishList/PublicWi...Number=11684532 im trying to keep it under $2k so i was wondering what you guys think of this build what would you do differently and would this power supply be able to support 5970s in crossfire ?
