  1. Hey guys, For any of you who now know assembly, where did you first learn it. I've been looking for some good links around the web, and couldn't find anything promising.
  2. Another correction. "150MB/sec on the 64GB version and 180GB/sec" It should be MB instead of GB.
  3. A question to all you who read this thread. How many overclocker's and advanced computer users actually use something other than Windows? We are thinking of switching from OpenGL to Direct X so we can run procedural textures with faster physics engines.
  4. I've been told to shut it off when doing processor tests, not sure about the normal test but yeah.....the wining...
  5. Agreed. Thanks mate, it would bring up some controversy of why there is two buttons.
  6. I think he had stopped paying for webservice. As for the online validation, it will definitely be there. Maybe not in the first release, but we plan to have it. As for multiprocessing, this is something we have been integrating.
  7. Thanks for the encouragement. Actually alot of my projects are finished, I just become overwhelmed with posting them all; but now that you mention it I might start getting back to blog posting and getting my updates there. I've been on a few game development teams, I've hosted a few which were pretty successful, but we ended up selling the project before any of them could be finished. I mostly consult for game-dev teams now. I consult for Vex Studios, I'm basically putting together a Publisher's Portfolio for them and I pitch it to Publishers around the globe. Oh, and yes my father does influence alot of things I do. Here are some basic pictures of the program so far, we haven't really done anything to the UI or tests itself to look good we just wanted to get the functionality there.
  8. The webpage is underdevelopment, the link is http://huskyengineering.com/ . We have been focusing on our development of the program lately, the website will be up soon.
  9. We actually run Open GL3.2 so people can benchmark on both Mac and Linux distro's as well as Windows. The individual output we actually have already, someone e-mailed me asking for that specific feature so we put it in right away.
  10. I'm not quite sure if I understand what you mean...like one where people can post legit scores? Ones that would be validated through a database?
  11. Yes, that is me. I'm trying to get as much as a viewerbase I can while also becoming a user in the community. Nice research btw!
  12. Hello, My first thread here, and no, I'm not just here to advertise. I'm Jim Atchue, owner of Husky Engineering. The past few months we have been developing a benchmarking system that also doubles as a stress tester. The program itself has come a long way, especially with input of overclockers and advanced computer users like yourselves. I am here to show you what we have and to ask for input. Basically I'll just give you a heads up on what we have now. The program, A.K.A Repod, was developed towards the more advanced user crowd. It gives real-time scores, and over time it records Frame Rates, Memory Usage, power usage, calculations per second, temperature, and a few more surprises we expect to throw in there. It records those from the Graphics card, Processor, and Memory. We will be adding in support for hard drives and sound cards soon enough. I am asking you what you would like to see in a benchmarking program. I understand, for the most part, that you guys would like things such as an output with framerates and usage of memory and power rather than just a simple score. So just, let me know here in this thread what would be great in a benchmarking program. I will post our dev videos and some screenshots of the program tomorrow when I'm on my development machine. Thanks for Reading! Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Jim Atchue PS. I hope to make some of your machines cry.
