  1. Hello, I recommend that you lower your Vcore and increase your QPI voltage, try to keep them close as posible. Begin with both at 1.2750 volts and then depending on the error code you get do the following actions (make sure you load your CPU with any program, I recommend that you use LinX max memory usage): During the tests, it is problable that you recieve a blue screen. Look in the screen for the error code, it looks like this *** STOP:0x00000101 or *** STOP:0x00000124. If you get BSOD Code 101 or *** STOP:0x00000101, do the following: - Increase Vcore. - If it occurs after 1 minute of running LinX, increase Vcore. If you get BSOD Code 124 or *** STOP:0x00000124, do the following: - Increase CPU VTT Voltage, it is the same as QPI. - If it occurs after 10 minutes of running LinX, increase CPU VTT Voltage, it is the same as QPI. - If LinX freezes: Increase CPU VTT Voltage, it is the same as QPI. - If the PC restarts without blue screen: increase CPU VTT Voltage, it is the same as QPI.   2. Hello, I have a Corsair H50 cooling an i7 920 on a Cooler Master Storm Scout case. I tried all possible configurations and the best result was archived mounting the H50 as an exhaust at the back of the case using push / pull configuration. When I mount it as an intake as Corsair suggests, my temperatures were a lot higher. Using push / pull configuration as an intake cores temperatures were 5 - 8 ° C higher and my Northbridge temperature around 13 ° C higher. .

  4. Hello and welcome to the community, Before you try any overclock, I suggest that you buy a good CPU aftermarket cooler. I am using a Corsair H50 and so far I am very pleased with the results, it is easy to mount, gives you space and its weight won’t harm you motherboard. I am using it in push / pull exhaust configuration and it keeps all my cores below 70 ° C running at 4.01 GHz. Currently I am running my CPU at 3.8 GHz and my cores stay below 63 ° C. Yes the D14 has better performance. To test if my PC is stable I use 20 passes of LinX with maximum memory usage. Intel claims the max Temperature is 67.9 ° C, measured in the cores is approximately 74 ° C.   5. Hello, I have 2 5770´s in crossfire and their performance is awesome. You can overclock them really easy and push them beyond the 1 GHz core, using stock cooling. Hello and Welcome, Remember to stay between limits that Intel recommends. 1.6 v on your QPI would produce tons of heat and probably fry the memory controller on your CPU, its way beyond the limits for 24/7 use. Your QPI and Vcore should stay below 1.35 v. Also, the difference between your QPI and Dram voltage should be less than 0.5 v. Here the CPU is running at 4011 MHz, on 19 x 211. By some weird reason on the 19 x multiplier the CPU seems to overclock better, even do the ram is running at higher speeds. For 20 x 200 I need more voltage on Vcore and QPI, 1.26875 exactly. With those settings it is stable on LinX 20 passes max memory usage. As well as OCCT.   7. Hello, I have an H50 Cooling my 920 on my system and so far I am very pleased with the results. I mounted it in different configurations, as an intake and as an exhaust. Which would perform better depends of the Case you are using. I am using a Cooler Master Storm Scout and have the H50 mounted in the back as an exhaust in push / pull setup. When I had it as an intake as Corsair suggests, it was heating up all my system, after switching it all my temperatures dropped 5 - 7 °C. Currently my 920 runs at 4.1 GHz and the 920 keeps the cores below 68 °C, after 20 passes of LinX Max memory. This might help: �Now what is truly funky about this is that the instructions state that the fan should be blowing air INTO the case, not out like an exhaust fan. To me this doesn�t seem right as it would be blowing hot air into the case and across the CPU block introducing more heat into the loop.� �So I mounted up the H50 system with a pair of Noctua NF-P12 120mm fans in the exhausting configuration, and I was pleasantly surprised.� Credit goes to http://www.legitrevi...article/1025/4/
  8. Hello, That is called Vdrop or Voltage Drop, you will experience it if you have the Cpu Load Line Calibration disabled. The Cpu Load Line Calibration increase the CPU Voltage a little bit when it is under load.

  14. Overclocked to 1030 / 1445 MHz, 73 C with stock cooling and fan 100 %; but I use them at those speeds just to run benchmarks. 24 / 7 I keep my CPU at 3.8 GHz and the 5770's at 875 / 1300, with a costume fan profile they top 72 C after 15 minutes of FurMark V1.8.0
