  1. Im interested and still have alot to learn. also if anybody can, please help me in my "1st biuld happening!" thread in system biulds. its biult, but its being weird.
  2. help!!! Okay, i play games fine for about a week and a half now, no problemo. i turn the comp off last night, turn it back on a few minutes ago and i get this mesage "Warning!! Overlocking has failed etc.." but i havnt overclocked!!Also the keyboard (wireless) wotn work. even the little receivers blinking light (which normally blinks when a button is pressed) wont blink. i turned the system off and unplugged it just now, and will try again in a few. any help!? quick plz! not trying to rush, but i want to know if something is wrong with my system!!
  3. actually, all i did was insert the Vista disk, and it worked and no pop-up ever came up asking for me to press the del key. Also when Vista was installed well, it seems abit big. like everything is like bigger its weird. also out GPU says Stantard VGA Graphics adapter, and 2 spots below it it says NVIDIA but it has nothing for manufacturer? this supposed to happen? i think not, but hope so. EDIT: Also, when i tried installing the driver, it says that it "cant verify the publisher of the dirvers software"?
  4. XDDDDDDDDD ah i am SUCH an idiot!!! neva mind that whole bit!! But i do have an issue. when i hook every thing up and turn on the machine it says "Reboot and select proper boot device or Insert Boot Media in selected boot device and press a key" whats this mean?? I tried pressing delete to get the setup screen but it didnt work. am i gunna have to go back into the machine again?
  5. unfortunatley, our internet has a limited douwnload level, and we cant really download anything. so we'll have to go with the discs. Also any other hints on BIOS? and once we get all the drivers installed, will i be ready to game?
  6. like other said, it will work great, i can tell you that from reviews, and talking to peeps with personal experiance. I got that fro the new PC i (lyterally!) just biult.
  7. alright well we just finished connecting power switches and stuff like that (well not "just" but we took a break) and we were wondering, after we follow the BIOS isntructions in the MSI manuel, and what we're supposed to do above, what we do next. Weve got about a 99.99999999999999% correct guess we install the OS? and then what? the disk that came with the mobo, PSU, GPU etc? in what order if any? thanks all!
  8. sorry, but what's that? sorry! im new haha.
  9. thank guys! EDIT: "Set your first boot device to CDROM in bios so it boots from your Vista disk which you have previoiusly inserted into the CDROM drive." sorry, and i'll probobly sound an idiot, and make you all scared witht he fact that im biulding a computer for saying this but what do yo mean? laymans terms pleas?
  10. We are about to install the OS (Vista 64 bt, Home Edition) any pre-requisites, hints, or how to's? Will we need internet connection to instal the OS? Thanks!!
  11. What is a SATA Cable (im not making a deal about it, my dad is. i figure if it connects correctly into the right slot, and does what is supposed to do its good, but no. weve gotta know it. which i kinda understand, but if he were that worried about it i woulda been quized on 45 different subjects by now ) We are about to install the OS (Vista 64 bt, Home Edition) any pre-requisites, hints, or how to's? Will we need internet connection to instal the OS? Thanks!! Quick replys are appriciated! haha. i wanna get this biult and get my bed (our workstation) back by tonight!!
  12. I already have all the parts and have started. So far, ive gotten the RAM, GPU, CPU (and fan/heatsink) on the mobo, and am not sure what to do next. any ideas? PS-the mobo does support Phenom II, it says in the instruction booklet.
  13. Lol i gotta 750W Corsair PSU i overkilled haha. But i want it to be ready to upgrade so. Im getting a GTS 250, AMD Phenom II X3 720, 4GB of RAM (G.SKILL).
