the p5k-e supports up to ddr2-1066 the pis look to be good the others seem to do great too.

TBH i don't like ocz after the MIR incident, some people found out that by changing the ending part of the url they could access people's information when on ther ocz mir site.

think something like G.SKILL F2-8000CL5D-4GBPQ PC2-8000 4GB 2X2GB DDR2-1000 CL5-5-5-15 be a good replacement to my mushkins?

I'd try to install windows it'd reboot then go back to the blue screen. and i couldn't get any farther other then blue screen, formatting the hard drive then copying the files and then rebooting only to have it loop. and yes this was after the first memtest. ram speed was 920 mhz passed at stock speed.. I was about going to test my ram but my windows folder got corrupted so i wanted to reisntall them tets my ram.

yeah it was fin then although i did have the problem that made me memtest it about 4 months ago. I can RMA then but i don't have any sticks to use in the mean time so i'm getting new ram. I'veb een told it was my fault for frying my ram.

So i oced my e8400 to 4.1 at 1.328v. I ran prime for 8 hours fine. apon reboot my ram died. then a few days later my other stick died. My settigns were: fsb 460 multi: 9 vram volt: 2.0 cpu pll: 1.5 specs: asus p5k-e mushkin ddr2-800 5-4-4-12

I'd go haf, it's really nice to work in too. i uploaded a picture of my cable management in it.

aah I see i think it's just the layout of it, i couldn't connector my 8 pin cpu power (I don't know the proper name) and 24 pin connector around the bac on my psu, in the haf i can :/ so anything shorter could be a problem, extension time/

Asus p5k-e E8400 stock hsf mushkin 4 gigs ddr2-800 What's a good way to test vdroop? Too bad this can't pass prime. I hope to get a xigmatek and hit 4.2 ghz.

My Haf works fine with my corsair psu... had troubles with the psu and the 590 :/ They need standard cable lengths >_<
