I bought my wife a Compaq M-300 off Ebay brand new for around $700. It is one of the smallest laptops I have seen. Specs are pretty good for a teacher sitting on the couch working on lesson plans: P3-600 192mb ram 12gb hard disk 1024x768 display 2mb video card (sucks, but hey this ain't a gaming machine) Built in modem and ethernet Single slot PCMCIA (filled with a wireless eth card) also includes the MEU (Mobile Expansion Unit) with 8x DVD and floppy The laptop alone is about the thickness of my Dell Latitude display panel. Add the MEU and its all about an inch thick and weighs around 4 pounds.

I have an Asus TUSL2-C motheboard and I just picked up a PNY GeForce 4 4400 Ti. I'm running WinNT2K. I just loaded Powerstrip and it informed me that my AGP setting was 2x. It said the card supported 4x, but the motherboard didn't. Well, I rebooted and went into the bios. AGP 4X enabled is what I saw. It also mentioned something about GART drivers but I can't find anything on the web. Does anyone know how I can activate 4X AGP correctly?
