  1. I also think it can be a compaitibility problem, i will try a X1600XT or X1050 this weekend, i hope that solves the issue.
  2. Recently someone lend me a DFI RDX200, with the advice that it didnt work that it couldnt post thru the second led, i arrive home clear cmos (jumer), put everything in its place (AMD64 3200+ / 256MB Value / 180W PSU / 8800GTS) i place the 8800 on the first slot and the result was 3 leds on 1 blinking, i move the 8800 to the second slot and this time it was 1 led the keyboard works even i there was no image on the lcd, i suppouse that was the PSU so i change it to a CoolerMaster 550w but the same result Today i getback my powerful 2MB PCI VGA, and this time everything was ok, i go into the bios and activate both PCI-e, then when the 8800 in the second slot everything was fine, but if i use the first slot the same happens 3 leds 1 blinking. I updated the bios to the 2005/12/23 and it didnt change anything, any ideas? can it be the first slot is bad?
  3. I have tried with a P&C and get the same 2 leds.
  4. Ok i understand that this is not the best psu to work with an expert but it was working fine, what happen and btw why all other components work fine, so can i rma it to dfi???
  5. But Stock Cooler (i was using Stock settings)????
  6. -UPDATE- I have tried other ram (2*1GB OCZ EL), other CPU (AMD64 X2 3800), other VGA CARD (X800XL) and i get stucked on the second led. I have tested my Sandiego, my OCZ gold and both 6800gs on an Epox and all work without any issue. So i suppouse it's the mobo, how can i confirm that???
  7. After 24hours of clear cmos with battery plugged, i get stucked with 2 leds, i have tried all posible combinations with one and two vidcards and nothing worked. I will check vidcard on other machine. I plug an old PCI (virge gx or dx i dont remember) and it get stucked on the second led is this normal, should it work???
  8. Thanks for your reply Logan i have tried one by one and inverting the order in the sli and it didnt work. After i was stucked on the second led, i disconect everything and when i returned again it get 3 leds. so again i am waitin 24 hours in order to clear cmos. some times after a normal clear cmos, if i dont insert ram stick it begins beeping sometimes it just gets stucked on the third led, i have already check the ram on other pc and it works.
  9. Update i arrived my home (after 4 hours of doing a cmos clear "the long version" but with the batery out) and the same then i clear cmos with the jumper and know i get stucked on the second led and so no video, but i know dont have problems passing the thrid led. i'll give a try. I was using it Stock since i get my expert i was using it at stock because i was waiting to have time to watercooled it. After the expert i was using a Sli-D it was prime stable, 32mb Pi and 3dmark 01, 03, 05, 06 one after the last. Yes YEah but in order to do that i need to boot
  10. I got an Expert board, i install everything and it boot without any troubles or issues. Recently i take my case to a lan, i play there without any issue i arrived and one day later began to put everything in its place so i powered up the rig and it stays on the third led. First i tried a simple clear cmos with the same result, then i take away my hardware from case start the system and the same, i take the battery away and wait a fwe minutes then put the battery and it boot so i installedd it inside the case but again it didnt pass the third led. Then i just plug the PSU conectors to the mobo the 4 leds stay on, then put the Sandiego it stays on the third one but if i left it like that some times it begin beep some times no, and some time it boots (i think 1 of 20 but not in a regular way). I have tried the official clear cmos procedure but it stays on the second led and thats it. Can someone help me?
  11. The PSU still works btw it works better than after because right now when i power the mobo no matter what its plugged it works damn it dont post Charlie and you get a new board???
  12. Hi i have some troubles, between the PSU and the rest of the PC, i manage to make them work, suddenly one day i try to start the pc and it didnt post, i check and just see the 4 leds on, i take everything away, and tried one by one component and it always happen the same juslt 4 leds, then i clear CMOS, it didnt work i make a search here and i do "The proper Clear CMOS recovery from a "no boot" condition", and no matter how much time i tired i have allready tried the 24hours, it dont makes the beep when i press insert key. I have allready test all the other components in other PC's and they are working properly.
  13. So if i change the PSU maybe it will correct, but i if i change of board (AM2) the psu will still failing
  14. yeah and i know another three guys that are using DFI Ultra NF4 and the Same PSU non SLI, and they are working without any issues. Today i checked with one abit Mobo 478 20pin main conector and it boot, then i used another Abit 939 24pin main conector and it boot. Thanks i have used the search befor posting
  15. Hi i was using a Thermaltake Silente Pure Power 420w non pfc 18a, recently i bought a Coolermaster 550w SLI, when i plug it and try to start the system the fan from the psu just flahses, the water pump the same just try to start and the leds from the mobo turn off and inmidiatly turn on but thats it. I took the coolermaster psu to the emergency pc (IBM Netvista M42) i plug it using the 24/20 and it works if i plug the thermaltake to my dfi it works. I have tried using the newest bios on dfi but it happens the same.
