aftermarket NB didnt help me oc further. But it did lower my temps significantly

After initial Overclock waiting like 30 seconds, i havent come across the length time thing again. I did the non-Diamond Multilmedia one. Does this matteR?

Went from a wall at 378 up to booting into windows at 412(havent had mroe than 30 minutes to play wiht the overclocking not too sure how high i can get) I can boot at 425 but doesnt wanna go into windows E6600 with Corsair Value RAM( 2 x1 gb sticks)

i see everyone posting the scores they are getting i just would like to know if they are getting any more compared to 831 or earlier with the 915

also make sure you clear bios then save and reset before changing bios settings seems i think a lot of people are not doing this which is why they cant boot

New bios doesnt yeild any more performance. Its a really weird way though. As when i had a AMD if it was getting a bit weak it would fail prime /spi/ 3dmark or whatever getting close to its limits. However my Conroe at 378 Does all of this fine. Great in fact. If i move that Bus speed to 380 however doesnt even post.

ive got a feeling i might have a problem after all i have a faulty 7900gt(works for most things but in fear it crashes and the deep freeze test on 06 crashes as well ) so im sending it back. i have a 7800gtx lying around im not using atm but if i put this in to my system best i can do is boot first time but if i change any bios settings it wont boot till i clear them. thing is i could handle not oc'ing for a week or so till i get my 7900gt back but it wont even let me select my raided harddrives which i sort of need. I have done everything i can think of short of flashing bios while using my 7800gtx and trying after that.. clueless and stumped

duh i hav e823 and have had no probs isthis bad for me? i have it at 378 FSB stable but this worries me?

Ok My system as per sig. FSB craps out around 370 or so. Can you run us through your bios options what bios your running mate and are all those volts correct? Sucks coz my stuff is heaps cooler than yours and seems im stuck at 370 I have active cooling over my NB with a 9500 Zalman on my Conroe Help me out mate thanks
