  1. I like that option the best. I sure hope that's the resolution
  2. would you say that's the most likely problem? Could I check all the PSUs connectors with a DMM and would that suffice? I actually have an Aspire PSU Tester that I could use. I guess I'm also asking whether the dead short would have fried any of the components or if the board and CPU should be fine and just the PSUs out put got fried.
  3. Would that cause my system to not even load to BIOS? I didn't have a HD attached to the Mobo at the time. I was following AG's guide for first time set up.
  4. Hi there. I finished sleeving my PSU last night and hooked everything up and nothing happened. Although I should have done this first, I went through and checked my connections. I realized I had accidentally put the 12v rail on my FDD connector at the 5v rail pinout and vice versa. My Mobo now gets to the point where all 4 diagnostic, the DRAM and the Standby LEDs all light and then nothing happens. I'm guessing I fried my CPU, but I'd like a second opinion. I know this is a stupid mistake, but if someone could let me know if I fried my Mobo, my CPU or BOTH  Thank you.
