I hope what ever shop you take it took has some really good guys because someone without lots of experience dealing with this boar dis not going to know what to do.

If you plug in the case USB things in backwards or in a wrong place it will make lots of smoke and catch fire i say a guy at a shop i worked at who did this it made me laugh.

Ok so i have been playing iwth this thing non stop for the last 5 days since i finally got my phase change and am trying to find the max my system can go so this is wat fixed the problem for me on the first page of the genie bios you can set the drive strength of 3 things to 31 so i did that then i raised all voltages having to do with the motherboard to the next one higher the north bridge core voltage i have set up 2 so its the one bellow the highest i loosened the Max async latency and the read preable to 7.5 and 9 and not this thing run like i always hoped it would so i recomend you guys trying the same and see if it helps you solve your cold boot problems right now im running 295*10 at 1.47 i also have the 2 settings on the first page of genie bios set to strong and fast but i am also runnign over 250 FSB so i dont know if it would matter if you are not. Sorry i cant be mroe specific with the setting if you guys have any questions i will answer them when i get home.

Many of these AMD chips will overclock a decent amount without even having to up the processor voltage. In that case i beleive that you are doing virtually no damage to your processor as long as you keep it cooled below 50C You might want to read the overclocking guide in the NF4 section to start learning.

I had the same problem with mine when i frst got it. I unplugged the front USB things that plug into the board to allow USB on the case and that seemed to work also try unplugging anything you dont need to boot the board up and instal windows.

You need to go into the device manager and go to the marvel properties and disable the wake on lan in there and it will work. Almost everyone has had this problem including myself.

You need to instal the AMD dual core driver.

Do you have all of the memory timing set manually including the TREF? Is it prime stable?

Make sure you have tref set manually in the bios when i had this set to auto i had problems cold booting into windows sometimes. If you dont knwo what to set it to start with 3120

I tried some things yesterday and ever since then my board just stoped overclocking and stoped running stable at stock speeds. I hope this works it soudns like tis what i need.

Well your right its not for newbs. You cant pair a quality board like this with crap parts.

If money is a problem get the one i have in my sig its about the same price as that hyper crap one but its a quality power supply everyoen here will agree with me on that.

It was the tref thank you as soon as i set it to 3120 my memory score shot up 2000 points. bandwidth efficientcy was at 25 percent before now its at 80. Thanks
