  1. Wait is that tubing leading in to one of the computers? I always thought if you pump AC air into a computer the condensation will fry it? And oh man do I wish I had AC, us canucks don't take too kindly to 31 degree © temps!
  2. Boo, 1600 x 1200 not even on the list?! Heresy!
  3. Thanks for your reply. I tried running 1080p on the tv, but it gave a "signal out of range" or something along those lines, mine was kinda cheap, so I don't think it's capable of 1080p, or at least I haven't found out how. I guess for games you'd want a nice smooth picture, so maybe I'll run it at 720p instead.
  4. Hey everyone, I've got a question. I've got a Samsung 42" DLP that supports up to 1080i. I've heard that since DLP's are progressive in nature, a 1080i signal is converted to a progressive signal and displayed. So does this mean when I run 1080i, that it will just downconvert to 720p, or does it wait until the 2nd frame is ready, and displays both at the same time, meaning I'd actually get around 30 FPS at 1080i, as opposed to 60? Sorry in advance if I'm totally misunderstanding how HDTV signals work.
  5. While I agree with almost everything in this post, things weren't as sweet "back in the day" for our non-white friends.
  6. Or just throw it in your rig and use to store movies/music, etc.
  7. EXACTLY what I was thinking, I dunno how people get so excited to be able to drop $1500 for a proc that would show almost no difference from a dual-core.
  8. So... are you just trying to simplify the equations? What grade are you in?
  9. Yeah, I died a little inside when I first heard of this...

  11. Exercise helps wonders when it comes to getting to sleep, I've been someone who has been going to the gym for a long time now, but anytime I take time off from working out I find I have trouble sleeping. Maybe it's just me... but I thought I'd share anyway!
