  1. Lol well being stupid, i pushed my bios a little far and now my computer won't even load up. It turns on, but nothing on my screen, dosen't even give me the option to run into bios, totally blank, everything runs though... What do i do!?
  2. cool i'm using 1 and 2, so i should go ahead and disable that option in bios then?
  3. as the topic asks, I'm wondering if i need this enabled to succesfully run in raid-0. Apparently I have already arrayed/striped my hard drives in raid 0 using this guide: http://www.angrygames.com/nf4raid-3.htm but i'm still wondering if this option in bios is needed for "SATA RAID 0, 1, 0+1, 5" setting to fully enable HDs in raid 0?
  4. Major props. Lost my audigy 2 regular CD blahh, thanks dude.
  5. hey, i wasn't entirely too sure if askinga bout the intergrated soundcard of the SLI-DR DF4 soundcard belonged here or not.. If I am posting in the wrong location, i'm sorry and please go ahead with removing or relocating my thread, i don't mean to cause any stress or more work for any of the admins. well the reason why i seek some rational (and please no fanboyism) opinions on the intergrated sound card is because just very recently, my Audigy 2 soundcard installation driver CD has seem to have gone missing. I tore my whole apartment inside out and then again. Could anyone advise me if the df4 onboard sound card is that of or better quality than a regular SB Audigy 2? It's not a ZS just regular, but i find very little difference between ZS or regular because i've had the ZS and compared the 2, but found that having 2 because of the somewhat same quality, i returned my audigy 2 zs to newegg. Well i'm just babbling it seems, so i'll just get back to my main question, is the df4 onboard sound card good, if so would you say it exceeds the Audigy 2 ZS or even regular 2 in quality? Is so... Then why? Any help much appreciated.
  6. lol nevermind, i just set my cd drive as the main boot.
  7. argh lol, how do i get back to the formatting screen in the windows set up? before the GUI? lol i'm trying to install windows without partitioning.
  8. okay then, it's formatting into E: drive. Thanks so much everyone for the support and wonderful help! <333333333 oh that brings me to a question. What's the highlights of partitioning and not? Couldn't i live without partitioning? with my other computer i never have and seemed to work just fine... so what's good about paritioning?
  9. so i right click on the unallocated section > click New Partition > select Primary Partition> then Assign the following drive a new letter? aka making a new Drive on my computer like E: or F: ??? am i following right?
  10. lol none! that's what happened after i partitioned my striped HD for 9550 mb or something : i'm quite confused
  11. yay Ex, thanks so much for the quick reply and everything! lol you been a great help! but i'm still just a tad bit confused what to do from here. okay so i got to the disk management window just not sure what to do next, never done this before : and like all this i've never done before, i don't wanna mess it up or make a mistake
  12. k, where is Computer Management? and then Disk management? Not sure how to select the rest of the drive and create a parition to format it... lmao sorry for seeming so hopeless and new at this, but i'm really stumped. I'm just trying to get this 1400 dollar piece of junk working lol :
  13. lol sorry, i'm a little confused how do i do this?
  14. hey all i'm quite new so bare with me. Well i was trying to get my 2 Hitachi Deskstars into raid 0, in enabled everything and all that jazz, but when i was creating a partition for 9550 like the tutorial told me to and entered windows, it only recognize C: drive or also known as my HDs as 9.32 GB... could anyone tell me what i'm doing wrong? this is the tutorial i was following http://www.angrygames.com/nf4raid-1.htm
