Hi, I'm using Nforce 4 chipset motherboard (namely DFI N4 Ultra-D). I'm using it with two Raid in XP system, one is SATA Strip and another one is ATA Mirror. When I install Vista 32bit, Vista only recongize my SATA Strip Raid, but see my ATA Mirror Raid as two separate harddisk. Could anyone give me some hints? Thank you in advance.

Its memtest is fine, without any errors.

Thank you for all the replies first. I'm setting LTT X 3 and runing 9/10 of memory divider, so my memory is not pushing hard, I think. I have updated to new 0406-BTA bios. An interesting finding I got even I tuned down to LTT 200mhz, the rigs will NOT hangs when I just boot up and then shutdown, but it ALWAYS hangs when I booted up, ran dual primes for a while and then shutdown. I have tried to tune up voltage on vcore or/and ram, but it does not help. Any idea?

Hi, My system is prime stable at 288mhz, however, 8 out of 10 it hangs in the screen of final window shuting down. When I tune the lower the speed says 260mhz, it will be fine. Any idea or suggestion?

Hi, I'm using Opty 165. I wonder what should I set on the Errate 132 in bios, leave it auto or disable it. When I leave it auto, it seems that my rig overclock not as good as disable. Any comment?

Hi, My PC4000 ram run stable in the bios memtest up to 270mhz, yet it has error even on 255mhz when I run memtest in windows. Is the windows memtest program reliable? If my system can prime stable without error at 270mhz but it has error in windows memtest, does my system still count as stable? Thank you.

I don't know whether it is CE-6. Its spec shows 2.5-4-4-7 @200 and 3-4-4-8 @250, anyone can confirm that? -

I used 2.8V, it can only run stable at stock 250mhz. I can run at 262mhz fine with bios memtest, but it has error with windows memtest. Any suggestion? -
Does HDD really need fans for cooling?
ccheung posted a topic in Processors, Motherboards and Memory
Hi, I just installed a HDD in a external 3.5" slot, right above the floppy drive. It does not have much space of breathing in that location. Does HDD really need proper cooling? or HDD cooling is just a nice to have? thank you. -
Sorry for the confusion, the sig. is my OLD ram, my new Patriot 2gb kit is PC4000.
