  1. why us only what about ur canadian friends ive been looking for a cab2e 0540 since november 2005 when it comes up for sale cant get it!! :eek2: hey soundx98 u dont need another opty 146 u have a cabye 0540 already :shake:   maybe u can buy it then ship it to me!
  2. seems like he somehow magically unlocked the multi...
  3. newegg has the gskills for 199 ocz doesn't even come close to the price and its basically the SAME ram... just that ocz has very good support if anything goes wrong
  4. both heat and high voltage kills your chip try to stay under 50C load and 1.6v
  5. still looking for an cab2e/cabye 0540!!
  6. cabye 0540 is very nice too, but cab2e 0540 can hit 3.0ghz at 1.425v lower vcore = lower temps thus my preference for cab2e over cabye since im only gonna be on AIR but heh if someone has a cabye they wanna sell i'd be down for that aswell
  7. ya been thinkin bout going dual core but it costs wayyy too much
  8. been lookin for a while no luck yet... let me know if you got one for grabs! only cab2e 0540 / cabye 0540 no exceptions
  9. for 311HTT/312HTT, first of all its not likely you will find a 2gb set that will run 1:1 (312mhz) u need sticks that will oc at least to 260mhz if you plan on running 5/6 divider (NOT 257mhz) but why run 5/6 divider when its possible to run 9/10 divider... all you need are sticks that can do 280mhz (which is possible with the gskill hz) i was in the same position as you, couldn't decide on ocz gold series or gskill, but i decided to take a gamble and follow other ppls recommendation on this forum to go for the gskill. LOTS of people have been able to oc the HZ to at least 270 some lucky enough to goto 285-290mhz do a search on google for ocz gold xtc review and you will see it that they dont oc very well but have no problem running at their rated speed.... weird because both the gskill and ocz are samsung uccc anyway...
