  1. Well I just took everything out and reset everything. Cleaned out some dust and plugged in the essentials outside the case and it worked. So I dont know what to say. Im gonna put everything back inside the case, ill post back with the results. edit:: everything seems to be working fine.
  2. I tried the 15 minute cmos clear a while ago and I just tried the 8 hour clear, still nothing. Im thinking I might as well just RMA the PSU if theres not much other advice.
  3. I turn off my computer last night, nothing seemed wrong but this morning when I try to turn it on, nothing happens. No POST, no beeps, no nothing. The only LEDs on the motherboard that are on is the two yellow ones, next to the DIMM slots and under the last PCI slot. I tried using the front panel power on and the one on the motherboard itself and still nothing. The four diagnostic LEDs just flash once for maybe .1 second and then just go off. I tried a CMOS clear for 15 minutes and still nothing. I had a PSU tester laying around so I plugged in the 24pin, cpu 8pin and molex connector and everything read fine. When my PSU was jumped I still had a few connectors plugged into the motherboard and everything turned on; the fans and hdd started spinning. When I plug the 24pin back into the motherboard it wouldnt boot. Im really at a loss for words. I had something very similar to this happen to me before and it ended up being my OCZ 520w but when I jumped it back then it read wrong. I RMA'd it and got a new OCZ 600w. It just turned a year old earlier this month. Im starting to doubt the quality of OCZ PSU's. Thanks in advance for any help.
  4. A little clean up from the other day helped, moved the HDD and cleaned up a lot of dust.
  5. thanks Blooz1! and I would mod the whole case if I could but I dont have as much free time as id like too these days Taowulf.
  6. Youre gonna love it. It does need a little modding, a given would be a 92mm or 120mm blow hole, other smaller mods depend on the user. Ill post a pic of mine if you want but I dont feel like doing if not asked.
  7. The AC freezer 64 pro is a great cooler if youre looking for a budget HSF. Top of the line I would recommend the Tr ultra-120 extreme, mid range would be the ultra-120 or ultima-90. If the HSF doesnt fit becuase of the ram then just switch them over to the other pair of DIMM's.
  8. Ya, it will work if you put the stock back on. My ultra-d got fcuked up and I just put the stock hsf on again and they (newegg) didnt say a thing.
  9. Point taken, thats for all the input. I'm probably going to order this once I get my next pay check.
  10. So which would I be better off with, the AL-CU or CU? since there isnt too much a price difference on SVC.
  11. Im just looking for approval/comments and a recommendation on a videocard hsf. no need to 'lol'.
  12. I'm dissatisfied with my current cooling, so since the summer heat is coming and I'm also looking for a higher overclock, I might as well upgrade my cooling. This is what I have so far... I'm trying to keep the total under $~120. My main concern is with the Zalman vf700-cu. I want something better than the stock cooler (duh) but also something that gives me a good $$/performance. So I want some options on that. Anything other comments/suggestions/options are welcomed too and the difference between the ultra-120 and extreme are minimal (according to anandtech, only a few degrees) so I picked the cheaper of the two. Thanks in advance
  13. Anandtech did a good review on it and compared it with their vast amount of other hsf's. For the time being Anadtech is down but heres the link to the review, www.anandtech.com/casecooling/showdoc.aspx?i=2962
  14. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16811112099 Probably the best case I've dealt with. Extremely light even with everything installed. Last time I checked, my whole rig weighs about 20lbs/9kgs. Excellent air flow but I don't know how the stock fans will prefer since I replaced them the moment I built my computer. Great performance at an unbeatable price.
