I have the NF4 SLI-DR , i've been getting the HA20X2K.SYS BSOD and sound crackling , a creative labs bod said i need to update my bios :eek: Anyway the date on my board says NF4 SLI-DR V1.0 DATE : 06/23/2005 REV A3

How do i dual core test the new prime 25.5 on my amd 3800+ x2 ? , what should the settings be e.t.c

They don't like alot of things Oh believe me its on its own irq that was something i looked into along time ago even faffing about with pci latency settings makes bugger all difference.. Meh shouldve got an audigy 2

I cant seem to be able to prime test my core 1 , ive got 2 instances of prime being used shortcut -A0 and -A1 i set affinity 0 and affinity 1 for the correct cores. But looking at task manager its saying 50% , the first window core 0 is being fully used 100% but core 1 only about 5%

Is there a way to get past weak cores bah! :tooth: Oh btw previous board sli-d was the cause of the million errors in memtest with any memory at default speeds and default timings, had someone else here to see for themselves , it also caused the soundcard to scream at me every few days . This Sli-DR is SO damn shweeet though :angel: F1-4000BIU2-2GBHV series by G.Skill passes 9hrs worth of memtest It errors in about 30mins at 2.62 , at 2.65 it errors in about 5mins with prime this is core 1 , core 0 keeps going ... Let me know if i need to do anything else , i think i covered all the angles though

My board was faulty did that ^ , got a dfi sli-dr right upto 287fsb , 237 mem :cool:

System is alot more stable than it used to be , left the computer on all day yesterday... Didn't get any freeze ups ( games ) and no crashs in firefox. Still getting the odd stutter but its not as bad as it was , so i can live with this :cool: Now i need to start saving up cause im skint with all this spending edit : how much do opterons go for now? dual core upto 3ghz oc will upgrade to one of those next year
