how much firther can you go, im getting an amd 2500+ barton core in a couple of days

om lets settle this, my new amd barton 2500+ oced @ 3.0ghz will kick intels butt any day, plus, intel is makeing new cpus so that you cant oc them whcihc is totally outragious

ok thx guys im gonna get the slk900 and the vantec tornado fan EDIT: crap! i cant get the slk 900 because with the a7n8x deluxe (asus) there are capacitors right along the cpu socket, grrrrr! crap! crap!

What is the best heatsink for the barton 2500+? keep in mind i do wanna overclock it to the max so cooling is a very important factor

Ok right now I have an Amd Athlon Xp 2400+ and was thinking of getting an Amd barton 2500+ and over clock it to like 2.6 or 2.7ghz would it be worth it, it wouldnt be that expensive either, only 100.00 at tigerdirect

yea, when working on my pc i normally just touch the ps or case, oh and another thing if you are standing on carpet dont move around to much when you are working on the computer
