i am honestly a fan of both. i like having a base install of a game on a disk. i can patch the game with having a major portion of it installed already, so it takes less time. steam downloads are much more convenient, and 20mb connection, so most games are downloaded in a flash.

well I had fun last night. can't wait to do it again. had to leave somewhat early for dinner, and popped on in single player to test out a build. I was looking at hunter/dream as suggested, so right now im going full hunter.

i lost my disks awhile back, but I just bought the gold pack on steam. add me if you want to play. currently rolling a theurgist level 6 or so. steam name: pbcustom98

i bought the same monitor a few weeks ago for the same price. i love the monitor when i game on it. do NOT even try to sit close to it, because when i did (2-3') i started feeling sick..i would sit back at least a few feet. also, having a single x1900xt and this monitor is quite nice. i have played CS:S at native res, maxed settings at around a constant 100fps (with smoke nades it drops to around 75ish). with R6V, however, it wasnt all that great. with native res i think i played with medium settings. it was playable but there were some scenarios where i could get slide shows. *keep in mind* this is on a non O/Ced e4300, and a stock x1900xt. seeing that you have a 8800gts, you should do pretty well. cant wait for pics.
