  1. Just posted my 3800+ x2 at 2500 in the database. I hope everything is kosher.

  3. With my BFG 7800gtx i can run 521/1351 using rivatuner. Once i get an a better hsf for it im sure i can get a bit higher.
  4. Nice x2 you have there. Right now im priming my 3800+ at 260x10 at 1.46v. On stock volts I am stable somewhere between 2.4-2.5. Can you run some benches at your 2 stable settings and show the results?
  5. I got mine from mwave.com, it was the same price or cheaper then the manch cores from newegg/ZZF. Mine is a 0529 also.
  6. OK here are the settings I have changed, everything else is whatever default is: Genie: Dram Config> Frequency 180 (9/10) tcl 3 trcd 3 tras 8 trp 3 trc 7 Genie: FSB freq ratio : 240 LDT freq ration x4.0 CPU/FSB freq ratio: x10.0 k8 cool n quiet: Disabled CPU VID: auto CPU VID special: auto default dram fequency is 200 (1/1) and default FSB feq ratio is 200, try those default settings first.
  7. Did you do a new Windows install when you upgraded? You should really clear the CMOS, it will set everything in bios back to the defaults, then test stability.
  8. You need to check out this http://www.dfi-street.com/forum/showthread...erboard+monitor thread to see how to set up MBM5. If you want to set your speeds back to stock you want your processor set to 10x multiplier, 200 HTT and 4x HTT multiplier. Your memory devider should be at 1:1 and you can leave the rest of the mem settings to auto I believe.
  9. You can check the temps with a program called Speedfan or Motherboard Monitor 5. You can find instructions to setting them up by searching on this board. What is the multiplier/HTT on the processor, and is there a divider on the memory. Do you have all 4 power plugs plugged into the motherboard?
  10. What are your temps when it reboots/freezes? Also have you tried clearing the CMOS? What is the processor and mem set at after you "loaded optimal"?
  11. Well when i got up to 1.4v it raised the temps by about 4C with the stock cooler. I havent tested with the Typhoon. I may need to reseat the big mofo too. My temps are probally from my case, I have a Antec Lanboy link The air flow sucks because the case is so small. With the 7800 gtx and where the HDD bay is, it practally closes off the bottom 1/2 of the case where the intake fan is.
  12. I just picked up cheap old crucial value 1gb sticks. They OC about 225-230. Good OC for how much i paid for them I think.
  13. I just picked up and installed my new TT Big Typhoon. Man this thing is huge! It was a little bit of a pain to install because the screws they provided for the k8 installation were to small. So I had to use the long screws and nuts, instead of screwing it directly into the dfi back plate. The temps are looking good so far! Went from 52C under load down to 45C Under load. x2 3800+ @ 2.4ghz at 1.3volts
  14. Haha! Good point. But it will probally end up in a backup computer or something.
